Siberian ginseng and eleuthero do not contain the active ingredient of ginsenosides.
This medicine should be taken orally. Regular recommended dose is 1 piece 10-20 minutes before sexual intercourse. Effect of the drug lasts for 72 hours. The medicine can be prescribed to patients with high blood pressure or heart disease.
Do not use Ginseng longer than three months. Do not take excessive quantities of the medication. After a break you can be recommended to repeat the course of treatment which continues few weeks or months.
Due to the lack of evidence about its safety, ginseng is not recommended to children or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Possible side effects
Ginseng do not cause severe side effects. Ginseng has been reported to cause nervousness and insomnia. Long-term use or high doses of ginseng may lead to headaches, dizziness, stomach upset, and other symptoms. In women who use ginseng regularly breast tenderness and menstrual changes can develop. It has been reported about allergic reactions to ginseng.
Ginseng is known to affect blood sugar levels, so people taking drugs for diabetes should use ginseng only if it recommended by the doctor. Co-administration of Ginseng with warfarin and some medicines for depression should be done with cautious. Do not take ginseng without consulting your doctor if you take any medications. Caffeine may increase ginseng’s stimulant effects.
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. Skip the missed dose if it is time for your next scheduled dose. Don't take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
There are not any known symptoms of overdose.
Store the medicine at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Store it in a tight container.
